I.Product introduction:

Test standard: It is in line with Standard GB/T2951-2008 and Standard GB5013-2008, and it shall be used together with aging test chamber.

III. Sampling

With regard to sample preparation and measurement of its sectional area, it is required to cut two sections of insulating and sheathing samples from each sample tested, and conduct a test after sample preparation and measurement of sectional area using the test method specified in Chapter 9 of GB/T2951.1. The test piece of dumbbell shall be prepared from the inner layer of insulation and sheath after all ridge and/or semi-conductive layers are removed. In addition, the thickness of test piece shall neither be less than 0.8mm nor greater than 2.0mm. If the 0.8mm test piece cannot be prepared, the minimum thickness is allowed to be 0.6mm.


IV. Test equipment

1. The test shall be carried out in the oven specified in Article 8.1 of GB/T2951.2-1997. In addition, test temperature shall comply with the provisions on relevant materials in relevant cable product standards.

2. Every test piece in the oven shall be suspended from the upper grip and clamped with the lower grip, and weights shall be added on the lower grip.

Note: The test piece shall not be closely sealed on both ends when fixing the tubular test piece with grip, but can be achieved using any appropriate method. If one end of the test piece is inserted in a small section of metal needle tubing, its size is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the test piece.
